It's been a minute, or a few, since I've written! It's almost like coming home!
Freddy B and I are in our one year countdown to the aisle! I didn't think this time would come! Where has all that time gone??
I am a mix of excitement and nerves as our days are ticking away!
We are getting ready to send out our save dates that I created on my own using my Cricut Explore Air. The pattern for the cut was 87 cents and I used left over paper from the paper packs I purchased for my center piece flowers to complete these. We were pretty efficient in using what we had to cut costs! I also dazzled them up with some glitter using my favorite crafting material... STICKLES! I truly believe there isn't anything that Stickles won't fix!
We will be getting our engagement photos back between tonight and tomorrow. I am anxiously awaiting to see these! We took them at Zoo Miami. Now, for some reason when we decide to make a trip to a zoo, any zoo, it always ends up being SO sticky and hot! You've got to love FL weather! So, needless to say, we were very sweaty, frizzy, and probably looking like a couple of hott messes! My photographer probably had his editing hands full trying to make us look like human beings again!
The only thing that didn't fall was my make up! Thank you to Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray! (And of course my make up artist!)
Freddy and I have also applied to be on NBC's new show "The Wall". What's life without a little bit of excitement!? We really liked the style of the game and how it gave a chance for ordinary people to have a decent opportunity to win some cash to help enhance their lives.
We just did a 30 second casting video to accompany our application. What a weird experience!!! I have never recorded a video before of myself talking to imaginary people. I am almost positive I look like a buffoon! Freddy did great! He's always talking to imaginary people! haha... I mean he has experience in recording videos for his YouTube channel. But, our video is uploaded to the dropbox of the casting director! Eeeeek!!!
Our fingers are crossed! It's out in the atmosphere! Too late to take it back! haha...
Here are my thoughts on the video...
So, with all of this going on and being said... My goal is write down a little more of our planning process for our final year before marriage. We've had so much time to just let things happen and collect what we needed to make our visions come to life. Now is the time for action!
I am looking forward to sharing our journey! I am also excited to have something to come back to once our wedding has come and gone. It'll be a nice walk down memory lane!
Thanks for reading and sharing in our excitement!
